P&O Marinas/Mina Rashid

Pindar Partners has been appointed as the strategic partner to support P&O Marinas transform the new Mina Rashid Marina into a regional marine hub. The strategic collaboration agreement is to support the development of a water sports academy, recreational club, an exhibitions space and range of associated marine leisure services and facilities.

Pindar’s experience as an international sailing business and brand will support the transformation of the P&O Marina’s facility into a world-class recreational hub for the sport and the wider yachting industry.

In addition, Pindar will organise sailing and promotional activities using its two Volvo Ocean Race yachts, which have been customised and branded P&O Marinas for marketing purposes.

Mina Rashid Marina has a track record of growth in the UAE as a Regional Marine Community hub. The main driver of which is P&O Marinas’ desire to develop this important segment of the market, especially in terms of infrastructure, as well as supporting the promotion of Dubai as a global destination for tourism.

The team is currently reviewing the calendar of sailing events for the next couple of years, to that P&O Marinas is able to welcome the world’s international regattas across their marinas.
